Business Spectator redesigns website and launches China spinoff

Business SpectatorBusiness Spectator has re-launched its website to work across various online platforms.

The new site has been optimised across tablets, smartphones, laptops and desktops and includes a more user-friendly navigation and the save story functionality.

“Business Spectator has become a key part of the business media landscape in Australia because it’s like the River Danube – fast and deep. We are quick with the news and with the best commentary and analysis. We are entirely focused on providing our readers with the information they need to succeed,” said Alan Kohler, editor-in-chief of Business Spectator.

Ahead of the changes Business Spectator also launched China Spectator a website dedicated to its coverage of China. The associated newsletter has already garnered 6,500 subscribers in four months and the website is planning on deploy two journalists to China by the end of the financial year.

In addition to China Spectator and a new look the website has also streamlined its other microsites, Technology Spectator, Climate Spectator and Markets Spectator, providing easier access to all its content.

News Limited purchased Business Spectator in June 2012 for a price tag rumoured to be around $30m.
