Buzzfeed’s VP of business partnerships, Andrea Ingham, to depart
Andrea Ingham, Buzzfeed’s vice president of business partnerships, is leaving the business, Mumbrella can reveal.
The former Spotify sales boss joined Buzzfeed in 2018.
Ingham finishes up at the end of the month
Prior to Buzzfeed, she was the sales boss at streaming giant Spotify. She’s also been national sales director at Southern Cross Austereo, a role she left in 2015 soon after Brian Gallagher was appointed as chief sales officer.
Ingham has resigned to relocate to Adelaide with her family, and will use her extensive experience to build a consulting business.
“I’m really excited about the move. I’ve had the most amazing experience building and leading incredible sales teams over the last 20 years, at Buzzfeed, as well as Spotify, SCA, Nine and Nova. And now I’m looking forward to what’s next in my life as I return to my home town of Adelaide,” she told Mumbrella ahead of her departure.
“With such diverse experience, spanning TV, radio, music streaming and branded content across the full media mix, I’m now looking forward to consulting to a range of businesses on growth and transformation projects. During my time in the industry I’ve enjoyed many highlights, but one that really stands out was collaborating with Pandora whilst I was at Spotify to create ‘Unrivalled’ to promote streaming as an advertising vehicle to the market.”
