Cake gets Sticky with new series

Production company Cake will partner with Sticky Pictures to co-produce an animated series, Herb and Ray’s Yum. The show was designed and created by director Pete Candeland and writer/director Stuart Connolly. Herb and Ray are buddies who host The Yum – the weirdest and wildest cooking show on the web. Their lack of cooking knowledge and kid-like curiosity make for out-of-this world adventures with lots of action, comedy and explosions. Herb and Ray may be teenage misfits with no money, no girlfriends, and no clues – but on The Yum, they are legends in their own lunchtime. Fifty-two 12’ episodes will be produced, with the assistance of the ABC.
