Paramount to take Tomorrow to UK

Paramount Pictures International will distribute Tomorrow, When the War Began in the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Russia, Portugal and South Africa.

The film, written and directed by Stuart Beattie, is currently the most successful Australian film of 2010, with $11m at the local box office and $1.2m in New Zealand. A deal for the US, however, has not yet been announced.

The president of Paramount International, Andrew Cripss, said the company was “delighted” to distribute the film in additional markets.

Tomorrow… was produced by Omnilab Media’s Ambience Entertainment, and is represented internationally by Inferno Entertainment.
