Calypso Man returns in Calypso Mango campaign via Elevencom
Calypso Man, who fronted Calypso Mangoes’ 2018 summer campaign, has returned in the latest campaign for the mango brand via Elevencom.
The campaign features an ice-cream truck being bested by Calypso Man for customers.
The 30-second spot sees an ice-cream truck driver looking for customers, only to find that Calypso Man has won over the customers.
Perfection Fresh Australia head of marketing, Luke Gibson, said: “We wanted to create a campaign that captures the spirit of summer and then bring it to people in the key moments we all love about the holiday season and those seem more important than ever this year.”
The campaign launches nationally this week, and will be on TV, out-of-home, digital display, native and social. Influencers will also be used through recipes and ‘how-to’ content.
