Campaign Lab launches New Zealand office after recent business wins

Sydney-based PR agency Campaign Lab is launching an office in New Zealand.

The company is looking to capitalise on recent growth in the country, including Fiji Airways’ PR account for Australia and New Zealand, and mobile phone brand OPPO’s New Zealand account.

Andy Scales, Campaign Lab director, commented on the move to New Zealand: “We’ve been waiting for the perfect time to jump across the ditch to New Zealand and make our mark. There couldn’t be a better time than now, as we look to keep up the momentum and continue to grow.

“As an independent agency, our growth has come as a direct result of delivering world-class strategies, campaigns and engagement activities for clients. Not only have we seen a need to offer these services to our current customers that operate across ANZ, but we also want to show the local market what CampaignLab has to offer and replicate our Australian success in New Zealand.”

Sophia Berry-Smith is Campaign Lab’s first hire in New Zealand

Sophia Berry-Smith is the first hire for the New Zealand office, taking on the role of account director and NZ lead.

Berry-Smith has previously worked at VMLY&R Auckland, Stuff and Vocus Group New Zealand.

Berry-Smith said of her appointment: “Joining CampaignLab is an amazing opportunity and I am looking forward to creating a world-class team that delivers campaigns that have real impact for clients.

“To date, CampaignLab’s success in the Australian market has been driven by the teams’ ability to develop creative campaigns that help clients join the conversation and create genuine connections with their customers. I’m excited to bring this model to market and expect it will resonate well with brands operating in New Zealand.”
