Can a movie be both compelling and boring? According to smh.com.au, yes
There seems to be an element of confusion on the smh.com.au home page this morning.
On the left hand side, the site seems somewhat down on the new Denzel Washington movie: “The Book of Eli brings the boredom”.
Over on the right though: “Denzel Washington stars as the most righteous killer since Travis Bickle in this compelling film”
Which doesn’t really help Dr Mumbo decide whether to see the film.
