Carissa Walford joins Channel V
Channel V has added Web Soup presenter Carissa Walford to its lineup.
The announcement:
Channel [V] is delighted to be able to introduce its brand new presenter to you. Please make welcome the multi-talented, CARISSA WALFORD, who joins the music television powerhouse as a permanent host.
Carissa teams up with Channel [V]’s current hosts, Danny Clayton, Billy Russell and Jane Gazzo and will make her debut on THE RIFF when it returns from a production break on Saturday 23 July at 10.30am.
Sydney girl, CARISSA WALFORD has jammed a lot in her 23 years. She comes to [V] after five years on FOX Sport’s Fuel TV, which had her presenting the Australian version of US comedy show Web Soup, before she flew to LA last year to fill in for iconic host Olivia Munn on Attack Of The Show. The daughter of a singer/drummer, Carissa has been singing and dancing her whole life. As well as singing R’n’B and soul covers in bars, TV presenting and teaching performing arts, she has worked as a model here and throughout Asia and the Pacific, proving that this lady isn’t afraid of working her butt off to succeed.
