An announcement said the decision was mutual.

Holt joined the agency in 2016 after seven years with the Clemenger Group, first with Colenso BBDO in Auckland, then as managing director of Clemenger BBDO across both Wellington and Sydney.

VCCP’s clients include Compare the Market, ING Direct and Fitness First.

Suzie Roberts, VCCP’s international managing director, will assume the role until further notice.

“Suzie has previously worked in Australia with VCCP and is looking forward to reinforcing VCCP’s commitment to the market and their clients,” the announcement said.

VCCP’s international COO Peter Polster thanked Holt for his tenure.

“We thank Andrew for his contribution and tremendous effort over the past three years,” he said in a statement. “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with him and I can only wish him all the best for the future.”

Holt in turn wished the agency the best for the future.

“The last three years have been an exciting time at VCCP and I am proud of what we have achieved together. It has been a privilege to work with every single person in the team, and I believe that the agency is set up for success in the Australian market. I want to thank everyone in the team for their commitment, passion and hard work, and wish VCCP and its clients all the best for the future.”
