Change at Omnicom’s Annalect as CEO and COO leave business

The axe has been wielded at Omnicom Media Group’s data marketing agency, Annalect, with ANZ CEO Clement Tsang, and chief operating officer, Matthew Nolan both having left the business, Mumbrella can reveal.

Tsang arrived as CEO from Dentsu’s Amplifi in late-2021 after Darren Stein departed to join strategic advisory firm, Annalect.

Nolan was also hired at the end of 2021 after a four year stint across several brands in IPG Mediabrands. Both have now left the business just over a year after joining.

It is understood Nolan and Tsang’s roles were cut in a wider restructuring of the division, with wider changes to be announced shortly.

Mumbrella contacted Omnicom Media Group regarding the changes, but the group declined to comment at this stage.

Mumbrella understands that while there isn’t direct replacements for either Nolan or Tsang, general manager for growth, Schalk van der Sandt is now leading the division on an acting basis.

Recently Annalect appointed Bojana Manojlovic as general manager – advanced analytics, with Anelida Pardini also joining from stablemate PHD as director of client services.
