Channel T hires Lisa Ramsey as managing director

Strategic communications agency Channel T has appointed Lisa Ramsey to the role of managing director of its Sydney office.

Ramsey joins from The Monkeys, where she was head of content management for two years, and prior to that she was at BMF for 12 years as head of account management.

In her new role, Ramsey will work alongside partner and executive creative director, Peter Cereny, and Sydney-based creative director Marrianne Little.

Commenting on her appointment, Ramsey said: “I’ve been fortunate to have worked alongside great creative leaders, who also happen to be really good people.

“It’s that creative passion, the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Australian and global brands, together with growing the Sydney business in a broader role, that has attracted me to Channel T.”

Channel T’s group managing director Paul Rhodes said since Ramsey joined, the agency has already seen “positive outcomes with existing and new clients”.

“Lisa brings strong leadership to our Sydney office and a genuine passion for great ideas, underpinned by sound strategic thinking,” he said.

The agency’s current clients include Hungry Jack’s, 3M, Vegemite, Heinz, Twinings and Parks Victoria.
