Chargrill Charlie’s appoints new media agency

Atomic 212 has won the media buying and planning account for chain chicken shop Chargrill Charlie’s.

The agency will be responsible for all media, including digital, as the restaurant chain looks to its next phase of growth, according to Chargrill Charlie’s head of marketing, Lisa White.

She said she and her team are excited to work hand-in-hand with Atomic 212.

“Their proven expertise and innovative approach align perfectly with our ambitious plans for network expansion and store growth, and we’re confident they will help us take our brand to new heights,” White said.

Chargrill Charlie’s opened in Coogee in 1989, and now boasts 22 stores across Sydney and Melbourne.

Atomic 212’s recently-appointed chief executive officer, Rory Heffernan, added: “Chargrill Charlie’s is an iconic brand in Sydney and Melbourne, with a loyal and growing customer base.

“We love this business and the Chargrill Charlie’s brand, which is ambitious, fun and engaging. Our team are delighted to work with Lisa and the team as they continue to expand through Australia.”

The new partnership caps off a strong year for the agency in terms of new business, having won GWM, BlueScope Australia, Darrell Lea, the Northern Territory Major Events Company, Adyen, UKG, VetPartners, and more.
