Charlie Pickering special outrated by Seven’s Better Homes and Gardens Christmas show

Charlie Pickering the yearlyCharlie Pickering’s end of year special The Yearly pulled in 592,000 metro viewers at 8.30pm last night, but was beaten for the most-watched non-news show of the evening title by Better Homes and Gardens – Countdown to Christmas.

Seven’s show at 7pm was watched by 616,000 metro viewers, while news was the overall winner of the evening, with Seven News at 6pm watched by 1.042m according to OzTam overnight metro ratings.

But that combination was not enough for Seven to win the night, with Nine claiming victory with an audience share of 18.9 per cent ahead of Seven’s share of 17 per cent.

Ten claimed third place with an audience share of 13.2 per cent while the ABC settled for an audience share of 12.4 per cent.

Ten’s repeat of Jamie’s Cracking Christmas, on at 7.30pm, was watched by 521,000 which was out-rated by Nine’s RBT which pulled in 573,000 viewers.

Both shows were out-rated by Seven’s Highway Patrol which grabbed 578,000 metro viewers however that was beaten by the ABC’s 7.30 which was watched by 626,000.

In news, Seven News won the night with a 6pm audience of 1.042m, dipping to 983,000 while Nine News at 6pm grabbed 983,000, sliding to 934,000 at 6.30pm.
