Claxon adds to leadership team, including ex-McCann talent

Phillippa Netolicky has joined Queensland-based digital agency Claxon as chief growth officer, while Teagan Peake has joined as operations manager and Michael Jeffriess has joined as chief financial officer.

Netolicky was previously managing director at McCann Australia from May 2017 to February 2020.

Netolicky joins Claxon from management consultancy CasaCity, where she held the role of general manager/ head of marketing – emerging brands. She was at McCann for ten years, having been promoted several times over, and has worked with clients including Minor Hotels, Mantra Hotels and Pillow Talk.

On her appointment, Netolicky commented: “I’m thrilled to be taking on this new role and am looking forward to driving growth and innovation alongside a brilliant group of people who have a relentless, unifying focus on cutting through the noise and doing great work for great clients.”

Peake joins from Edge Marketing, where she held the role of general manager from July 2018 to September 2020.

Peake said: “I’m really excited to be joining Claxon at a time of significant growth and expansion. I love having complex challenges to solve, and I feel like I have found my new home in an ever-evolving industry.”

Jeffriess has held executive roles in a number of ASX-listed and privately-held Groups predominantly in the financial services industry, including LightYear Group and Accountis. Jeffriess also sits as a director on an accounting association board.

Jeffriess said: “It’s not often you get presented the opportunity to be involved in the growth story of a company that excites you as much as Claxon has to me.”

Claxon’s CEO Stephen Forth, who joined in March this year, said: “Ensuring Claxon has a strong, experienced management team to help drive the growth of the business is key. Phillippa, Teagan and Michael bring significant experience and knowledge across many industries and markets and I look forward to them joining me in this journey.”
