Clemenger BBDO Sydney promotes Kit Lansdell to head of planning



Clemenger BBDO Sydney has promoted Kit Lansdell to the head of planning, filling a role left vacant by Matt Walters who has returned to the UK.

The promotion follows the appointed of Mediacom’s Mat Maroni as planning director to the team at the end of last week.

Lansdell joined the agency in 2012 to head up strategic planning for all brands within the agency’s Mars portfolio including MasterFoods, Whiskas, Kan Tong, Skittles, Dolmio and Dine.

Al Crawford, executive planning director of Clemenger BBDO Sydney, said: “It’s always brilliant when you can recruit from within.  Having worked with Kit for the last 3 years, I know just how good he is as a planner, but also how influential he is as a leader within the agency.  Giving him the job is not just the right decision, but a really easy one as well.”
