Clemenger BBDO’s Hungerithm shortlisted five times for the Australian Effie Awards

The Communications Council has announced its 97 finalists for the Australian Effie Awards with Clemenger BBDO’s Hungerithm shortlisted five times, the same as Meet Graham.

Clemenger BBDO has been shortlisted across the food confectionary and snacks, government, not-for-profit and cause-related, PR-led campaign, most original thinking, digitally led ideas, insight and strategic thinking, use of data and media partnership activation categories.

Clemenger BBDO and BMF lead the way with 12 finalists each.

At the Asia Pacific 2017 Effie Awards, Clemenger BBDO was most awarded agency of the year and won 12 awards. 

BMF has been listed as a finalist in categories including: retail/retail, financial services, travel, leisure and media, government, not-for-profit and cause-related marketing, PR-led campaign, long-term effects, insight and strategic thinking and also has two finalists in the short-term effects category.

The shortlist, which includes 34 agencies, was compiled by 125 industry experts.

Leo Burnett has been shortlisted 11 times,  including Leo Burnett Melbourne’s six, while The Monkeys grabbed six listings.

Some of the other agencies to make the finals were CHE Proximity, AJF Partnership, Ogilvy & Mather, TKT Sydney, TBWA\Integer, Ogilvy Sydney, The Works and J. Walter Thompson Sydney.

Chairman of judges, Colin Wilson-Brown, said in a statement: “To see such a high number of finalists progress sends a strong message around the value of the work being delivered by our industry.

“The next round takes that further, with cases and results assessed by panels of senior marketers, providing a client perspective on how agency work is driving business performance,” he said.
