Coles Media continues talent drive as Dylan Gibbs joins from iSelect

Coles Media has added to its ranks once again as it continues to build out its retail media offering. It has hired iSelect’s Dylan Gibbs as products and platform manager, Mumbrella can reveal.

Gibbs’ role will see him governing the development of the Coles Supplier Media product and platform offering “to drive innovation and growth, unlocking new opportunities for Coles supplier partners”, the brand said.

General manager of Coles Media, Paul Brooks said Gibbs will be crucial in supporting Jess Torre, head of Coles Media, as it continues to be built out.

“Our team continues to build and scale quickly as we expand and improve our business to help us achieve our ambition to deliver a world class media experience for our supplier partners.”

Gibbs will report in to Torre. She added: “Dylan is a great addition to an already very talented and passionate team and will play a key role in diversifying and continuing to grow our offer and partnerships. His digital and transformation skills will be invaluable to helping our customers and suppliers have the most seamless digital experience.”

Gibbs said: “It’s clear that there is a huge amount of change coming to the Supplier Media landscape in Australia, and I am looking forward to partnering with Coles’ extensive network to shape it. In addition, Coles’ purpose to sustainably feed all Australians and help them lead healthier and happier lives is something that really resonates, and I look forward to doing my part to contribute.”

Gibbs was at iSelect for three years as senior product manager, responsible for bringing together all of the brand’s web experiences He has also held roles at Target and MYOB.

Coles joined the retail media space this year with a big push, hiring prominent media agency talent, including Brooks, Sam Hegg, and Bethanie Blanchard.
