A respected industry expert, Rush has presented VMN’s research and insights at The White House, on Capitol Hill and to multinational marketers such as Unilever and IBM.

Rush champion’s innovation in research both inside and outside VMN. She is chairman for the Board of the Advertising Research Foundation (ARF) and the executive committee for the Coalition for Innovative Media Measurement (CIMM). Through her involvement with these industry bodies and her role at VMN, Rush uses research to underpin the importance of monetising content in digital environments. In 2010, Rush was named to Ad Age’s list of Media Mavens, and in 2009 was recognized by Working Mother Magazine as a Working Mother of the Year.

The Breakfast will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Parkside Ballroom, Darling Harbour from 7.45am, prior to the commencement of the Conference. In addition to highlighting the role and importance of the current generation in shaping the subscription TV and broader media industries, Colleen will also present highlights of The Next Normal’s insights from Australia. She will also talk about how deeper understanding of consumer behaviour helps in creating the most compelling content across every screen.

“We are thrilled to welcome Colleen to Australia and to the ASTRA Women in TV Breakfast. Her talk comes at an opportune time when rapid changes in technology, content consumption patterns and delivery platforms are re-shaping the markets at large and subscription TV industry in particular. It will be exciting to hear Colleen talk on the impact the millennials have on how we consume media,” said Petra Buchanan, CEO of ATRA.

Under the banner Enhanced Entertainment, the day-long 2013 ASTRA Conference program will share opinions from leaders across the industry, allow for discussion and debate through a combination of panel discussions and break-out sessions and provide networking opportunities at the Women in TV Breakfast, lunch and the closing cocktail function.
