Commbank produces mini-docos on Australian of the Year finalists
Commonwealth Bank has produced a series of short documentaries on eight of the 2013 Australian of the Year finalists. The Can Stories campaign is part of the financial institution’s sponsorship of the Australian of the Year Awards.
The campaign’s creative has been executed by Imagination with media by Ikon and Spring.
The three-minute videos include media personalities Ita Buttrose and Kerry Stokes.
I have to ‘like’ the page to watch the vids. No thanks.
Unfortunately We can be heroes got here first. It’ll be hard to compete with the fictional aussies.
yawn who wants to hear more about famous people with massive profiles?
tell us about the quiet achievers instead please. The ones we can relate to.
(Who are we? your customers)
I thought Australia was sponsored by Westpac!
Kerry Stokes is a great story, well filmed – pity about the literacy of the editor!
The collection was “gifted”????? No, there’s a word for that: given.
“Gifted” as a verb is for people who dropped out of English class at age 7, or thereabouts. Many did – please don’t let them loose on graphics.
Users must ‘like’ the page first? New to social media and what annoys people the most, are we Commbank? Maybe you should sit down with Fairfax and talk about pre-roll videos while you’re at it.
I really enjoyed those. Well done to all who worked on them.
lol Can she ‘blink’ enough? lol
I can only assume that the need to press ‘like’ is a cynical exercise by Commbank to claim popularity. I’ll wait until the films appear on TV.
