Comms executive Cameron Moss bids BBC Studios adieu
BBC Studios’ communications executive, Cameron Moss, is leaving the business after close to seven years at the broadcaster’s Australian office.
In an email sent on Friday morning, Moss revealed that August 30 is his final day at the organisation.
“Just a courtesy email to let you know that today is my last day at the BBC,” Moss wrote. “Thank you for supporting our channels and content over the years.”
According to his LinkedIn, Moss joined the BBC in November 2017 and served as a communications assistant until mid-2023, whereby he became a comms executive.
“Cameron is committed with a positive work ethic and a can-do approach to anything he is presented with,” the company’s head of communications, Asia Pacific, Laura Dumbrell, wrote of him.
“He joined us as an intern and we have enjoyed having him as part of the team and watching him grow.”

Throughout his time at the BBC, Moss contributed to the management of the broadcaster’s consumer campaigns for clients; talent access; developing fruitful relationships with entertainment journalists; maintaining relationships with publicity teams and their related media bodies; and social media duties.
Mumbrella has reached out to Moss for comment.
Moss’s departure comes over a week after it was revealed that BBC Studios Australia and New Zealand is working with Amazon MGM Studios to release an Australian version of hit comedy show, The Office.
The series will star Felicity Ward and is written by its executive providers, Jackie van Beek and Julie De Fina.
