Craveable Brands reappoints Mindshare to media account

Craveable brands, the parent company of Red Rooster, Oporto and Chicken Treat, has reappointed Mindshare to its media account.

Mumbrella revealed that the account was under review in August, and understood that Mindshare was defending its place on the account. Craveable Brands has disclosed that four agencies were on the shortlist of the pitch.

Craveable Brands has reappointed Mindshare

Mindshare has worked with Craveable Brands for four years. During the pitch a brand spokesperson told Mumbrella the group was pitching as “regular post-contract period review”.

CEO of Craveable Brands, Karen Bozic, said: “Mindshare has been our existing agency since 2016 and provided excellent service during this time. We are delighted Mindshare will continue to work with us as our trusted media partner in delivering our strategy going forward.”

Mindshare CEO, Katie Rigg-Smith, told Mumbrella: “Our team loves working on Craveable Brands and its portfolio of iconic Australian restaurants. It’s always been a pleasure to work with a team of clients that respond to provocative ideas, seek to understand what makes their audience engage and are really focused on delivering excellent customer experiences. We’re excited to continue our partnership and drive future growth.”

Red Rooster’s former CEO, Nick Keenan, joined Publicis Media’s agency Starcom earlier this year as CEO. Publicis has previously declined to comment on the prospect of its involvement in the pitch.

In January last year, Ashley Hughes moved across from competitor KFC to become the director of marketing for Red Rooster.

The pitch was conducted by Enth Degree.

This week also saw Red Rooster appoint White Grey as social media creative agency.
