Creative startup Bashful to review General Pants Co.’s marketing strategy

Bashful, the youth-focused creative startup, has been brought in to review General Pants Co.’s marketing activity and has also been appointed as the full service agency for haircare brand Goldwell.

The agency will now oversee the launch of Goldwell’s new July campaign which will include outdoor, online, print and point of sale.

Meanwhile, Bashful will conduct a study into consumer perceptions of the General Pants Co. brand, as well as review its recent marketing activity as part of the development of its future marketing communications.

Bashful was launched in November by Spin Communications co-founder Simon Bookallil and Emil Vrisakis, also formerly from Spin.

The two had worked on the “Colour Changes Everything” promotion for Goldwell while at Spin.

Bashful has so far carried out work for clients including Lee Jeans, Van Heusen, Contiki, Jacqui E, Bowl-A-Rama, Wrangler, Lend Lease and Zimmermann.
