Dannii Minogue and Andrew G to stand in for suspended Sandilands
Austereo is looking to the world of reality television to find the stand-ins for suspended Kyle Sandilands on Sydney’s 2Day FM.
The network has drafted in Australia’s Got Talent judge Dannii Minogue and Australian Idol presenter Andrew G as co-presenters while Sandilands is off the air.
Sandilands was suspended earlier today after he joked on Tuesday about TV presenter Magda Szubanski losing weight at a concentration camp.
Although officially the pair have only been lined up for tomorrow, Mumbrella understands they’ve been asked to make themselves available until at least the end of the week.
Er this is getting weird when you look at the latest comments, cabana boys, Kyle Sandilands and a pink vibrator in the same section. Whats going on????

I don’t know why anyone listens to any of these people or radio shows in general. I can’t stand hearing unfunny people talk, let alone the ads. As for the news or weather they’ll be hours after the internet anyway. Traffic information is about all they’re good for, if that. Thank god for iPod car players.
Also the two-header format? That makes no sense. Radio is or was supposed to be about intimacy, but with two presenters you just get two fuckwits talking to one another, rather than to the listener in a one-on-one manner.
