Dare Iced coffee signs sponsor deal with St Kilda FC

Dare Iced Coffee has signed on to be the principal sponsor of the St Kilda FC AFL club.

In a major boost ahead of the 2015 season, St Kilda FC and Lion Dairy & Drinks (LDD) today announced that Dare Iced Coffee will be the club’s Principal Partner for 2015 and beyond.

The two-year deal – with an option for a third year – will see Dare Iced Coffee become the Saints’ biggest corporate partner.

CEO Matt Finnis said that having such a strong brand invest in the future direction of the club is significant.

“We are immensely pleased to announce this partnership with Dare Iced Coffee which, like the Saints, is focused on growth, excitement and success,” he said.

Dare is the number one iced coffee brand in the country.  It’s made with fresh milk and real coffee, so – just like St Kilda – it’s the real deal, and a great fit for our club.

“I hope all Saints fans will reach for a Dare next time they want a refreshing coffee break.  They will be supporting a great brand that is strongly backing this great club” Mr Finnis said.

LDD Marketing Director, Nicola Richardson, said that Dare Iced Coffee was excited to be joining forces with one of the AFL’s foundation clubs.

“We think it’s a great time to be coming on board with the Saints, with exciting years ahead of the club both on and off the field.

“Victoria is St Kilda’s heartland, and an important growth market for Dare.  This partnership is an opportunity to support an iconic club and drive awareness behind Dare in Victoria and around the country” Ms Richardson concluded.

Finnis said that Ledified remain as a major partner of the Club.

Today’s Principal Partnership announcement caps off an exciting few months for the Saints including:

  • Attracting 25,000 members by 25 December for the first time in club history
  • Arrival of seven exciting new players (including No.1 pick Paddy McCartin, No.21 pick Hugh Goddard and former Swan Tim Membrey)
  • 20 young players re-signing as part of future fest
  • Signing of Nick Riewoldt to the end of 2016
