Diabetes WA explores symptoms in new work from &Partners
Diabetes Western Australia is encouraging those suffering to reach out and get help, in a campaign from newly appointed agency, &Partners.
In a new series of ads, Diabetes sufferers go about their daily lives with re-occurring symptoms.
The first ad sees a man get up numerous times in the night to go the the toilet, while another ad sees a woman constantly fill her glass with water at work.
A third ad shows a person attempting to read a newspaper, but it is too blurry.
Each piece of work finishes with the tagline: ‘If you’ve got it, we get it’, before a call to action to get in touch to Diabetes WA.
A radio ad explores the ‘highs’ and ‘lows’ of Diabetes.
It is the first piece of work from &Partners, and seeks to encourage Western Australians to take advantage of services available.
Helen Plange, Diabetes WA general manager of communications and marketing, said the campaign couldn’t have come at a better time.
“Right now, diabetes is the fastest growing chronic illness in the world and there are over 125,000 Western Australians living with the condition. We ’re here to minimise the impact it has on individuals, families and society, and this campaign will encourage more people to take advantage of our uniquely WA-centric services, so they can stay as well as possible, for as long as possible,” Plange said.
Media planning and buying was done by Initiative Perth.
