Digital agency Market United drafts new business director

Digital agency Market United has appointed Theo Fotopoulos to the new role of business growth director and follows a major restructure of the agency earlier this year.

Fotopoulos will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and client growth for the Sydney office and he will report to Tom Skotidas, head of marketing.

Fotopoulos moves from his role as chief executive of the Parklands Foundation – part of Sydney Olympic Park – where he has been for the past three years.

The Q Ltd-owned agency was formed following the merger of Market United in Perth, Clear Blue Day in Sydney and Freestyle Media also in Sydney. The changes led to some redundancies, with the Perth office now staffed with 40 employees, and 20 in Sydney.

The Sydney office is headed by CEO James Ward, who previously occupied the same role at Freestyle Media. The Perth office is headed by Sandra Riches, previously GM of Market United.

Market United is a full service digital agency which provides online strategic, media, creative and technical services. Its  Sydney clients include Subaru, Sanitarium, Mortgage Choice, and 3 mobile.
