Digital Chameleon announces e-learning uptake for digital media courses

Training company Digital Chameleon has released a press statement detailing the number of people who have signed up to its e-learning courses for digital media.

The announcement:

Sydney, 5 October, 2012: Sydney-based digital learning company Digital Chameleon has announced it now has 524 e-learners enrolled in its online digital marketing courses.

The e-learners hail from across all parts of Australia and work in over 30 different businesses, from media and advertising agencies, to brand marketers involved in financial services, technology, FMCG etc. range from candidates seeking digital roles and media veterans eager to crack digital ad budgets, to marketing managers looking to upskill in newly emerging disciplines like social media and content marketing. As such, Digital Chameleon now educates more working sales and marketing professionals in digital marketing online than any other organisation in Australia or New Zealand.

“When we launched the first version of our courses online in 2010, we were working on the assumption that e-learning was the most efficient, affordable and convenient way for busy professionals to learn more about digital marketing,” says Patty Keegan, Digital Chameleon’s Managing Director. “We came up against a lot of resistance. People were familiar with traditional face-to-face training sessions and most had never engaged with e-learning. Now we’ve grown from an initial offering of 8 modules covering online advertising to 24, comprising online advertising as well as social media, content marketing, data and analytics. And the handful of pioneer learners we started with continues to grow,” she added.
