Digitas Australia hires James Hudson as head of media

Publicis Groupe’s Digitas has hired James Hudson as its head of media.

Hudson joins the agency from Zenith where he was the head of digital for almost four years.

He is replacing Daniel Barley, who departed the agency last year.

In his new role at Digitas, Hudson will be working across all clients including GSK, FCA and EA Games.

“Digitas has an amazing offering across a number of different areas including tech, creative, strategy, content, data and analytics. Media is an integral part of this and therefore a best in class media division is being formed to support the business.

“Increasingly clients want their agencies to help navigate the ever more complex digital ecosystem and this requires different skillsets and capabilities to work in an integrated way in order to deliver innovation.”
