Diversified Communications appoints new head of commercial strategy

Mumbrella parent company, Diversified Communications has appointed Mike Morris as the new head of commercial strategy across both Sydney & Melbourne offices.

Morris has joined with two decades of commercial, strategic and digital experience across multiple sectors.

Morris’ most recent role was general manager for Sportsmate (part of TLA and TGI Sport). Previous roles include senior commercial positions at Cricket Australia, Bastion, and Southern Cross Austereo.

David Longman, managing director of Diversified Communications, said: “Mike’s broad experience and personable style will very much complement our strategic direction and culture. I see Mike being a great addition to the leadership team, playing a crucial role supporting the commercial directors and broader teams to lead business growth, as we continue to deliver world class events, conferences and service the media & marketing industry in 2023.”

Morris’ responsibilities include commercial strategy for Mumbrella.
