DMG appoints Sean O’Brien
DMG Radio Group has drafted Sean O’Brien into the role of general manager for Adelaide radio stations FIVEaa and Nova 919.
The announcement:
Following an exhaustive nation-wide search, Sean O’Brien has been announced as General Manager of top Adelaide radio stations FIVEaa and Nova 919.
Announcing the appointment, dmg Radio Australia Group General Manager Kingsley Hall said the company was rapt to have secured such a high calibre executive for the dynamic role.
“Sean has led the Channel 9 Sales Team for the past nine years, where it was consistently ranked the number 1 television sales team in an environment that is tough and highly competitive,” he said.
“He’s well respected both in South Australia and nationally and has the vision, the skills and the drive to lead Adelaide’s number one radio station, FIVEaa, and Nova 919, featuring Adelaide’s top rating FM breakfast show for the under 40s, into an even more exciting future.”
Mr O’Brien takes up his new role on 2 August.
