Domino’s Pizza names new ANZ chief marketing officer

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd (Domino’s) has appointed Adam Ballesty to the role of chief marketing officer for Australia and New Zealand, following a global recruitment search. He replaces Allan Collins who left Domino’s in April 2021 after almost 15 years in the role.

Prior to joining Domino’s, Ballesty held senior marketing roles with brands including Foxtel, Diageo and Pacific Brands, as well as managing his own strategy and research business. Most recently he was general manager of beveradge company, Seedlip.

ANZ CEO Nick Knight said: “We are extremely excited to have someone of Adam’s calibre join Domino’s and are looking forward to the new energy, passion and direction he will bring to the role as we continue on our journey of growth, improving the customer experience and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

As CMO for Domino’s ANZ, Ballesty will be responsible for all facets of consumer marketing including brand, digital marketing, communications and product development, as well as leading the development of the Domino’s innovation pipeline moving forward.

Ballesty will also be a member of the Domino’s ANZ executive team, working closely with leaders in the business and Knight to continue to drive the strategic and creative direction of the brand.

Ballesty has sat on a number of boards – most recently the Love Mercy Foundation – and is currently a mentor with the Australian Marketing Academy (AMA).

Ballesty will commence in the role from 2 August 2021.
