carsales.com Ltd appoints new Editor at bikesales.com.au

carsales.com Ltd has today announced former Australasian Dirt Bike (ADB) Journalist, Dylan Ruddy, as the new Editor at bikesales.com.au.

Following a six-year tenure at ADB, Ruddy has joined bikesales.com.au to expand his motorcycle CV into riding, reviewing and talking about the full gamut of powered two-wheelers – and replaces Mark ‘Mav’ Fattore, who is departing bikesales.com.au after an 11-year stint at the helm.

Ruddy has been riding motorcycles since he was five years old, and has fond memories of tearing around his family property in the Victorian bush on a Honda XR80.

“I’m delighted to be joining bikesales.com.au. It’s a website I’m already familiar with thanks to hundreds of hours poring over the bikes in the classifieds section. To now get the opportunity to shape the editorial content is something I’m very much looking forward to,” said Ruddy.

“I’m also looking forward to sinking my teeth into some of the ‘big ticket’ items including the bikesales.com.au Bike of the Year awards,” continued Ruddy.

carsales Director of Content and Editor-in-Chief, Mike Sinclair, is thrilled to welcome Ruddy on board.

“Dylan brings a lot of enthusiasm to his new role. We’re excited about adding his dirt bike expertise to the bikesales mix,” said Sinclair.

“Mark’s legacy is the strength of bikesales – clearly Australia’s number one motorcycle online resource. We won’t be seeing him every day, but we know where he’s going,” continued Sinclair. Fattore will become publican and new owner of the motorcycle-friendly Elphinstone Hotel, Victoria.
