Ed Kavalee, Claudia Karvan, Angie Kent and Beau Ryan named in the lineup for Ten’s Dancing With The Stars in 2020
Ten’s Dancing With The Stars is set to return Sunday February 9 with actor Claudia Karvan, former AFL player Travis Cloke, MAFS’ Dean Wells and Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi named in the lineup.
Joining them will be radio host Ed Kavalee, former Gogglebox and The Bachelorette star Angie Kent and The Amazing Race Australia host Beau Ryan.
Former The X Factor Australia winner and Australian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, Dami Im, will also be taking part alongside Richard Wilkins’ son, socialite Christian Wilkins.
Have You Been Paying Attention? regular and recent Tetley champion Celia Pacquola has also been picked for the lineup. Kavalee is also a host on the comedy panel show, as well as hosting the Hit Network’s drive show Hughesy & Ed with Dave Hughes.
Ten has also recruited 2019’s Bachelorette and former Gogglebox Australia star Kent who also appeared in I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here with her Gogglebox partner Yvie Jones, and The Amazing Race Australia host Ryan. The Amazing Race Australia was a new entrant to Ten’s programming lineup in 2019, premiering to 635,000 metro viewers and seeing 739,000 tune in for the final episode.
Karvan is best known for her roles in Love My Way and The Secret Life Of Us, while Lattanzi is an actress and performer in America.
Married At First Sight’s Wells was partnered with Tracey Jewel on season five of Nine’s dating program, but repeated cheating and a lack of connection meant their union didn’t make it past the end of the program. Cloke has played 256 AFL games for the Collingwood Football Club and Western Bulldogs and won a premiership with the former club. He retired in 2017.
The show will again be hosted by Amanda Keller and Grant Denyer, with a $50,000 prize for charity waiting at the end for the celebrity who makes it to the finish line.
Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Sharna Burgess and Tristan MacManus will also all be returning.
Dancing With The Stars is produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Australia and BBC Studios, from a format created by the BBC and distributed by BBC Studios. It premieres On Sunday, 9 February At 7.30pm on Ten.
Once again the ‘stars’ word in the show’s title is misleading with another collection of C grade celebrities to grace the dance floor.

Maybe they use C Grade actors in case they break a leg or something….insurance would cost less.

Better casting this cycle. Dami, Claudia and Chloe are my favorites going in but with this show things may change when I see them dance. (e.g. Kerri Anne Kennerly was also a favorite going in and we know how that turned out)
10 really have done well with the look and hosting shared now. Slight changes big results, it is a slick polished production. I hope the show appeals to the audience 10 is trying to attract.
