Eleven wins Mastercard’s PR account

Omnicom’s Eleven has won the public relations account for Mastercard Australasia, Mumbrella can reveal.

Winning the account from a competitive pitch, Eleven will now be responsible for the payments and technology company’s corporate brand and branded marketing.

Eleven has won the Mastercard PR account

Weber Shandwick previously held the account locally and Mumbrella understands will continue to work with the brand in other global markets.

Anne Wall, head of  communications at Mastercard, said in a statement: “While all the agencies we met with had a clear way of communicating this with our people, partners and the market, Eleven greatly impressed us with their creative, culture-led approach, and how the evolved Mastercard can play a more meaningful role with each audience.”

Roberto Pace, managing director at Eleven, added: “Mastercard is synonymous with Priceless experiences, from the everyday to the exceptional.

“The evolved Mastercard offering takes this even further, pushing out from payments to tech and more. We’re looking forward to helping Mastercard tell the next story in their chapter by making it a part of culture.”

The account win comes three months after the agency won Spotify’s PR and social accounts.

Eleven’s clients include M.J. Bale, Phillips, Virgin Mobile, Gatorade, Skyy Vodka and ANZ.
