Em Rusciano’s appearance on Big Music Quiz fails to top The Block ratings
Nine’s The Block continues to outstrip its reality show competitors by achieving 1.212m metro viewers last night.
With the highest rating episode of the series, The Block now averages 1.021m viewers per episode.
In the same 7:00pm time slot, Seven’s The Big Music Quiz, which guest-stars Em Rusciano and Lawrence Mooney, attracted an audience of 873,000.
Following Rusciano’s taping of the show, she decided to quit her News Corp column after the show’s quizmaster Darren McMullen was quoted as saying Rusciano “was a nightmare” to work with.
In the 7:30pm time slot, Ten’s Australian Survivor drew 649,000 metro viewers.
Nine won the night with 21.2% audience share, ahead of Seven at 17.2%, Ten at 16.8%, and ABC at 13.2%.
Seven’s Sunday Night attracted 693,000 in the 8:00pm slot, while Nine’s 60 Minutes took in 765,000 viewers at 8:30pm.
Nine News won the news battle at 6:00pm with 1.113m viewers, just ahead of Seven News at 1.104m.
