Emma Joyce joins Concrete Playground as branded content editor

Food and lifestyle site Concrete Playground has appointed Emma Joyce as its new branded content editor. Joyce joins from Time Out Sydney where she was editor.

Joyce had been with Time Out since 2011 when she joined the publication as an intern.


Joyce said she was excited to be joining Concrete Playground and getting started on some new projects.

“I’ve been impressed by Concrete Playground’s growth and impact across Australia and New Zealand over the past ten years,” said Joyce.

“They have a youthful and committed team creating high quality content every day, and they’re not afraid to reinvent their products to deliver the best possible outcome for their clients. I’m looking forward to jumping into some exciting new projects with their already impressive team.”

Concrete Playground founder and director Rich Fogarty said he’s confident the branded content team will achieve great things under Joyce’s lead.

“We’re excited to have Emma join us at Concrete Playground. She’s a talented editor with a unique voice who will no doubt lead our branded content team to new heights,” said Fogarty.

Earlier this year, Concrete Playground made a move to grow its commercial team with the addition of four new hires, alongside some internal promotions.

Concrete Playground reported a unique audience of 842,389 in Nielsen’s Digital Content Ratings for July 2019.
