Engine hires Dan Adler from Sapient Nitro as Client Services Director

Brisbane agency Engine has strengthened its account management team with the appointment of Dan Adler from Sapient Nitro Brisbane as Client Services Director.

The announcement:

After a year of solid growth, Brisbane advertising and integrated communications agency, Engine Group, has appointed Dan Adler as Client Services Director. Tim Weger, Engine’s Business Director says, “We’ve had our eye on Dan for some time.  He has all the experience and qualities you’re looking for in a senior suit, but what excites us the most is what he’ll bring to our management team as we continue to grow”.

Dan was most recently Group Account Director on a range of national clients for one of Brisbane’s leading multis. He’s also had stints at two of Brisbane’s leading independents, Depasquale and BCM. Shane Murray, Creative Director says, “Dan’s a great bloke. He has an uncanny feel for the business. He’s a real people person and a tremendous thinker with a proven knack for getting good ideas across the line.”

The recent appointments of Jen’s Cookies, Minc and Invisible Shield have further strengthened Engine’s client list, setting themselves up for a very successful 2011.

“I love Engine’s vision and where Tim and Shane want to take the business.  They’ve got a great team and a strong creative product. My role will be to share the Engine story and partner with the boys on Engine’s next chapter”, says Dan.

“Real, sustained growth is all about investing in top quality people”, says Tim. “With a brand repositioning exercise already underway and some ground-breaking work for some very savvy clients in the pipeline, we suspect we’ll be turning a few heads over the coming months”.
