Epic chase sequence shows St George employee and Little Dragon going ‘above and beyond’ for customer
St George’s Little Dragon has returned, this time accompanying one of the bank’s employees on a high-speed chase to return a phone left behind by a customer.
Created by Saatchi & Saatchi, the TVC sees the woman run through the streets, a park and the rain behind the customer in his car, with the Little Dragon following as her ‘St George alter-ego’.
Kate Kissane, St George head of marketing, said the campaign aims to highlight the brand’s people who go above and beyond.
“Every time we conduct customer research one thing comes back loud and clear – what sets us apart at St George is our people. And, at St George we believe that banking is a people business so we really wanted to bring this to life in this campaign,” Kissane said.
The campaign was produced by Plaza Films and directed by Paul Middleditch.
Mike Spirkovski, CCO of Saatchi & Saatchi, said: “We’re really proud of the success the ‘Little Dragon’ campaign has had for the St George brand. It’s been exciting to work with director Paul Middleditch to evolve the ‘alter-ego’ that celebrates the friendly point of difference sitting at the heart of the brand.”
The 45-second TVC will be accompanied by content for social, pre-roll, digital, OOH and in-branch.
