August 26, 2011 –

Espresso Communications has been retained by Belkin Australia and New Zealand to manage all of its corporate and product PR requirements following a competitive pitch process. Effective immediately, Espresso will focus on profiling the Belkin product range which extends across networking, mobility, commercial products as well as its power conserve range.

According to Managing Director of Espresso Communication, Corrie McLeod working with Belkin is a really exciting opportunity for the team. “Belkin is well known for its high-quality and diverse product range and we are really looking forward to doing a stellar job managing the account. We have been working very hard to build a team of professionals with diverse and complementary skills, and these are perfectly aligned to manage Belkin’s requirements.”

Amanda Conroy will direct the account and she is supported by consultants, Felicity Threadgate and Aaron Percival. Espresso’s Creative Director Laura Fireman will also play an important role providing creative ideas to ensure a strong lifestyle focus in the new PR activities.

Brendan Sparks, Head of Marketing and Product Management ANZ, said that Espresso was selected because of its deep understanding of the Belkin business and the enthusiasm the team brought to the pitch process.

“We have a very good story to tell and we were looking for an agency that had the market expertise, both from a technical and product perspective, but also in terms of the creative ideas they could bring to the table for Belkin. Espresso definitely has these skill sets and more, and we are confident that this is the start of a strong relationship that will strengthen and aggressively grow the brand in the coming months.”

The new Belkin appointment follows hot on the heels of Espresso Communications’ recent expansion with the company also signing HotHouse Interactive, Mindjet, UXC Connect and UXC Consulting as part of its growing client portfolio.
