Euro RSCG Sydney restructures creative team, promotes four

Maniaty, Evangelinidis, Johnson, Ladd

Euro RSCG Sydney has announced a restructure of its creative department that sees four creatives – Dave Ladd, Chris Johnson, Alex Evangelinidis and Peter Maniaty – promoted to creative group head.

The changes were led by ECD Steve Coll.

In May, Coll made his first major changes to the creative department since joining the agency in November 2010, hiring five but letting two creatives go.

Johnson and Ladd were Coll’s hires, while Evangelinidis and Maniaty were with the agency prior to his arrival.

Coll said: “Dave, Chris, Pete and Lex have made an enormous contribution to the quality of our work over the last six months, and these promotions are very well-deserved. It takes a particularly strong character to help turn an agency around, and these guys have been a key part of starting that process here.”

“There’s a way to go. But after a very long dry spell at the agency, we’ve started picking up creative awards at the tougher shows. Better still, those awards are being won for integrated work. It’s a credit to these guys, and I am delighted with these promotions.”

Coll said their best work had been for Mortein’s Louie the Fly campaign and the sponsor the White House campaign for Vanish Napisan.
