The announcement:

Evergreen Advertising & Marketing has won two Platinum Awards, one Gold and a Special Recognition Award in the 2013 Generations Awards which recognize excellence in marketing to the 50 + mature consumer.

The prestigious international awards were judged by a panel of marketing, communications, advertising, public relations and media professionals, across 64 categories. The highest category Platinum winners received scores of 90-100; Gold winners received scores of 80-89; and Special Recognition Awards were given to campaigns which made a valuable contribution to Senior marketing.

“This is a fantastic accolade for us and reflects the commitment, professionalism and creative excellence of my team”, said Gill Walker. “Evergreen really understands what Seniors want and think and all our campaigns are underpinned by real respect for this increasingly vibrant market.”

Evergreen won Platinum for its Marcomms Refresh Campaign in the Integrated Marketing Campaign category for blue-chip 50 + specialists Odyssey Travel. They were also awarded Platinum for their campaign promoting the 2011 Victorian Seniors Festival on behalf of the Victorian Government (Department of Health) in the Event Marketing category.

Evergreen’s house campaign, Specialists in the Mature Mind won Gold in the Internal campaign category and the agency was singled out for Special Recognition in the Brochure category for its work in partnership with Stockland Retirement Living.

“We really understand the 50 + market and it comes as no surprise to us that we were the only Australian agency to win across all three categories”, said Walker.
