Exhibitions & Trade Fairs appoint two new senior staff

Exhibitions & Trade Fairs has appointed Jodie Richmond to the role of CEO and general manager; and Michael Berg to the role of national sales manager.

Exhibitions & Trade Fairs (ETF) is taking a dynamic new approach to its business with the appointment of an experienced and innovative experiential marketer, Jodie Richmond, to the role of General Manager & CEO. Also reinforcing the company’s greater focus on customer service is the appointment of industry expert, Michael Begg, to the newly created position of National Sales Manager.

Jodie Richmond Joins Exhibitions & Trade Fairs

Jodie Richmond has joined Exhibitions & Trade Fairs (ETF) as General Manager & CEO.

Jodie joins ETF with over fifteen years experience in the events industry with specialist experience in events management and exhibitions.

For the past ten years Jodie has held senior management positions with Jack Morton Worldwide (JMW); most recently as Business Director and member of the Executive team. During her career at JMW, Jodie worked with a number of the company’s blue chip clients gaining a strong reputation for the delivery of outstanding experiential and event management, marketing and branding solutions. Prior to joining JMW Jodie was a Senior Event Producer at OnLine Events in Brisbane.

“I am delighted to lead ETF into a new phase of growth and development. Together with our experienced team, we are working to develop and grow the ETF brand in the local and international market,” Jodie said. “We are taking a fresh and innovative approach and looking at ways we can strategically grow our exhibitions portfolio and to extend the quality of the services we deliver to exhibitors and visitors,” she said.

Michael Begg Joins ETF as National Sales Manager

Michael Begg will be joining ETF in early November in the newly created role of National Sales Manager and head of the ETF Melbourne business.

Michael brings a wealth of experience in the conference, exhibition and business events industries to his new role at ETF. He was most recently employed as Commercial Sales Manager at Moonee Valley Racing Club and prior to that he enjoyed a successful career spanning over eight and a half years at Moreton Hire, most recently as National Sales Manager. Prior to that Michael worked at Expohire for five years as a Senior Project Manager.

“I am looking forward to bringing a focused approach to our exhibitions. We want to leverage the expertise we have across with our individual shows our entire portfolio so that we are continuously innovating and delivering value to our exhibitors and visitors. Regardless of whether we are managing a single show or a multiple capital city exhibition or an international exhibition and conference – our goal will be to add value,” Michael said.
