Fetchtv introduces a dog as mascot with nine animated TVCs
A production house has been appointed by Fetchtv to create nine TVCs as part of a new brand campaign.
Sixty40, a design and animation house based in Sydney, has created short, character-based spots using a dog as the channel’s mascot.
Agency The Works storyboarded the concepts before passing it to Sixty40 to design and animate.
Fetchtv delivers entertainment-based content to free-to-air and subscription TV to viewers via a broadband connection.
Matt Taylor of Sixty40 said: “We aimed to create a character that embodies the fetchtv brand and creates something instantly entertaining for the viewer. The fetchtv dog is human-like, but primarily he is a dog. We used the animal’s typical characteristics and injected a humorous and edgy persona to create a fresh and relevant ambassador for fetchtv that stayed true to its brand.”
Really like that ad.
And as someone who has a FetchTV box in their home I have to admit that it’s a great service. Streaming across from iiNet and I’ve had no issues at all. Good lot of shows and thankfully I don’t find myself continually scrolling through channel after channel like I did with Foxtel just to find something to watch.
