Speed presentation series Ignite Sydney will return tomorrow in a session organised by agency TCO.
Could you revolutionise your industry in 15 seconds? This is the challenge posed by the sold-out Ignite Sydney event, curated, appropriately enough, by one of Australia’s leading creative communication organisations, TCO, which has a reputation for challenging conventional wisdom.
Despite recent wins at the Cannes Lions, Australia’s communications industry faces the same crises of consumer confidence as elsewhere in the world. To put this topic centre stage, Jon Holloway (TCO) and Steven Lead (Ignite) have invited 16 stars of advertising, marketing and PR to explore this disruption and inspire Australia’s communications industry in engaging with today’s connected consumers.
Inspiring the 500-strong audience at the Oxford Arts Factory on Wednesday 7 August, each presenter has just 20 slides, which move on automatically after 15 seconds, for a maximum of five minutes.
Having recently appointed Jon Holloway (formerly of The Works) as managing director, TCO is well placed to lead the debate on the urgent need for evolution within Australia’s media and communications sectors.
Having sold out the event, TCO is keen for those unable to attend to be able to follow the action on Jon’s Twitter (@jonthedots) and join the debate on #ignitesydney. The five best questions posed by Twitter followers will be put to a select panel of event speakers and filmed for the Ignite YouTube Channel.
