Former BMW marketer Stuart Jaffray moves to Starcom as MD Melbourne

The GM of marketing at car brand BMW is moving agency side to become Melbourne managing director of Publicis Media’s Starcom.

He replaces Peter Toone who left the agency at the end of last year after 11 years.

Jaffray: Moving back agency side

Jaffray was also with BMW for 11 years, before taking on the GM marketing role towards the end of 2014.

Jaffray will report to Starcom Australia CEO Toby Barbour and will be accountable for the performance of Starcom Melbourne, its cluents and its talent.

Barbour said Jaffray’s depth of experience as a senior marketer with BMW and stints agency side in Sydney, Melbourne and London, made him a compelling candidate for the role.

Jaffray begins his new role on 1 May.
