Former Euro RSCG MD Julie Burke emerges as CEO of Enero-owned Precinct

Julie Burke, the former managing director of Euro RSCG Sydney, has emerged as the CEO of business-to-business agency Precinct, which is owned by Enero.

Burke left Euro RSCG in April after a year in the role of MD, and was introduced to the Precinct job through Enero boss Matthew Melhuish.

Precinct‘s offering includes financial, business to business and internal communications, and was formed from the merger of ABT and Precinct in 2010. The agency has offices in Sydney and Melbourne.

Burke told Mumbrella: “A year and a half ago the two companies merged. My short term function is to ensure this arranged marriage has a shared vision, and there’s cohesion between the two cultures.”

“It’s a lot of fun to work in a different environment, with people so fired up and passionate. There’s a different energy to traditional agencies here,” she said.

Burke’s career has involved stints at Lowe, BMF and McCann as well as Fallon and Bartle Bogle Hegarty in the US.
