The cloud-based cyber-safety system, which listed recently on the ASX, gives parents control of their children’s online habits through a cloud-based dashboard which operates at home and on mobile devices.

Schools can also use the system to block out inappropriate content.

Family Zone managing director, Tim Levy, said the appointment came as the company entered a new phase of development.aca-family-zone-cyber-safety-screen-shot

“We are in a strong growth phase since launching our consumer product in Australia last July and look forward to working with David to take us to the next level both in Australia and overseas,” Levy said.

Dunstan led the marketing for Stayz in Australia and New Zealand for four years after leaving U Bank, where he was head of brand and deposit marketing.

“Family Zone is at the cutting edge of providing a safe and secure online environment for kids both in Australia and across the world,” Dunstan said.

“It’s an exciting time to be joining, as we ensure the brand reaches as many families and schools as possible”.
