Former TripADeal CMO sets up business consultancy firm
Marketing professional and the ex-chief marketing officer at travel organisation, TripADeal, Dwayne Birtles, has officially opened a consultancy firm.
Developed to support businesses’ boards and chief executive officers with the skills and knowledge of a CMO without requiring full-time commitments or costs, SEAM’s services play across four pillars: “Strategy, Enablement, Activation, and Measurement.”
Together, the services encapsulate a company’s growth plan, while offering support and valuable strategy. SEAM’s overall goal is to assist organisations in achieving sustainable, efficient growth.
“There’s too much complexity in the market for the sake of it. SEAM is here to cut through the noise and focus on what businesses truly need for scalable, sustainable growth,” Birtles said.
“SEAM isn’t a media agency.

“It’s a consultancy that acts as the right hand to CEOs and boards, helping businesses scale up quickly. There are already amazing agencies out there – SEAM is here to complement that by offering high-level marketing consultancy and leadership.”
SEAM is the latest chapter in Birtle’s long-running career in Australian corporate leadership.
Prior to his three-year stint at TripADeal, Birtles worked as industry head of travel at News Corp Australia – his second time being employed at the publisher after working various digital and data-focused roles for the company from April 2013 to November 2016.
Between both News Corp stints, he spent close to four years at Flight Centre Travel Group, having joined it as head of digital media and analytics in towards the end of 2016, before being promoted to head of marketing communications – a role he held from April 2019 to August 2020.
