Foxtel hires head of platform advertising innovation

Foxtel has appointed a new head of platform advertising innovation, digital media and marketing professional Suzie Cardwell.

Cardwell joins Foxtel from 3RD Sense where she was an account director for over seven years and specialised in developing play and game-based digital content for brands and marketers.

Previously, Cardwell was group manager at the Multichannel Network (MCN) where she launched Foxtel’s interactive TV (or red button) advertising division in 2005 and worked with some of Australia’s largest advertisers on interactive advertising campaigns.

In her new role Cardwell will report to Foxtel’s director of content and partnerships Rebecca Heap.

Her appointment follows the hire of former news.com.au editor David Higgins who moved to Foxtel as social media marketing manager last week.
