Foxtel uses Chris Hemsworth to showcase appeal of ‘Anytime’ service
Foxtel has employed Australian actor Chris Hemsworth to showcase the appeal of new streaming service, Anytime, in a series of six new spots.
Part of the ‘Make It Yours’ campaign, which focuses on the different ways people enjoy TV in the their home, the new series was created by Whybin\TWBA, specifically to promote Foxtel’s new streaming service, Anytime, which allows viewers to stream movies and TV shows on demand.
Foxtel’s director of content marketing, Rob Farmer, said: “After a big impact with the launch of this creative platform to customers earlier in the year, anchored around the return of big shows like Game of Thrones, Girls and Wentworth, it’s great to see the ‘Make It Yours’ campaign now evolve to embrace Foxtel’s other points of difference, with a focus on movies.”
I want my IQ3 to switch between shows as fast as Chris’s does.. He must have the up to date software because mine is still slow and crap.. I have had Foxtel for a while and I do like it – but I still don’t see how these types of commercial appeal to the general public who don’t already have Foxtel – is it just me? I feel like these commercials are talking to the audience they already have instead of the one they want??
